And they won an international competition for a solar house! And now he’s coming to Alaska to share his experience on the project. Joins us this coming weekend to learn more.
lumenHAUS …is a solar house designed and built at Virginia Tech as part of a research program that was begun in 2002. An innovative design integrating architecture and technology, the project won the international Solar Decathlon Competition in Madrid, Spain in June of 2010. lumenHAUS is a net zero-energy home that is completely powered by the sun.
