Interested in super-insulating technology and its potential benefits for a quieter, more efficient, and less costly home? Join us as we learn about vacuum insulated panels (VIPs), a technology around ten times the R-value per inch of common insulation materials offering the potential of very high insulation values in a much narrower assembly. This workshop will cover how VIPs are used around the world to provide exceptional insulation and energy savings along with the challenges and considerations for incorporation in Alaska’s buildings. We’ll cover the benefits, considerations, ongoing use & promising innovation for this technology right here in Alaska.
